Role Overview
As a Radio Presenter for GFM Radio, you’ll play an integral part in our team, hosting engaging shows, connecting with listeners, and bringing your unique style to the airwaves. This role is voluntary, but it comes with the opportunity to grow within the station and potentially transition to a paid role as we expand.
Responsibilities
- Host live or pre-recorded shows on weekdays and/or weekends
- Prepare show content that is relevant, entertaining, and aligned with GFM Radio’s brand
- Engage with our audience via social media and on-air interactions
- Collaborate with the team to develop fresh ideas and innovative programming
- Ensure high-quality audio through home studio equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in the radio sector is essential
- High-quality home studio equipment (microphone, headphones, and audio interface)
- Familiarity with voice tracking and playout software (training available if needed)
- A passionate, positive personality with a talent for connecting with listeners
- Ability to commit to a regular schedule and meet deadlines
